Our American Literature classes studied The Great Gatsby during second quarter.  At the beginning of the novel the students created a map to depict the setting.  The students worked in pairs to identify "East Egg" and "West Egg", the Valley of the Ashes and New York City.
   
   
   
                                       
   
The end of the first semester culminated in our 1920's celebration.  Students experienced the 1920's by rotating through five stations: Food & Drink, Popular Culture, Music, Entertainment and Famous People.
